A senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, Daisy Finch is majoring in journalism with a minor in film and media studies. She plans to graduate in December 2018 and continue to work as a multimedia journalist. She strives to report honest, transparent, engaging and unbiased news.
Finch has written print content for Today’s News-Herald, The Entertainer! Magazine, and the West Valley View, as well as digital work for phoenix.org, River Scene Magazine and Downtown Devil. As editor-in-chief of her high school paper, she gained a great love of layout design and working on a news team. She has also completed various multimedia projects with audio, photo, and video, and videography has become one of her biggest passions.
Finch also runs a website and YouTube channel, where she produces vlogs, video montages, informational shorts, and experimentational content mainly about travel, people she loves, and lifestyle topics. Her hobbies include journaling, playing volleyball, and getting emotionally entangled in movies and TV shows. Born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, camping, hiking, boating, and wakeboarding are also activities that come naturally to her. She is also a proud fish mom of a betta fish named Xibalba and avid admirer of houseplants.
