Schaudt was born and raised in Phoenix. Schaudt earned a bachelor's degree from William Penn University and a master's degree in mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

Schaudt has an affinity for graphic design and AP style.

When Schaudt isn't on the internet, Schaudt enjoys shopping at thrift stores, listening to podcasts and spending time with family.
