The founder of Discount Tires had an estimated $6 billion in wealth.

Through the Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation, he also contributed a lot of money to charitable groups around the state.

Specific numbers are hard to come by, but reporter Lynn Trimble has written a piece for Phoenix New Times exploring where the Halle philanthropy was focused.
