A woman once convicted in connection with the murder of her 4-year-old son will be in court Friday. Debra Milke was sentenced to death for the 1989 murder of her son. That conviction was overturned by a federal appeals court earlier this year.

A federal judge in Phoenix has sentenced a Venezuelan Air Force
colonel to 19 months in prison for conspiring to export military
aircraft engines to his home country. A local businessman was also
involved in the scheme.

prescription drugs by the Mesa Police Department has resulted in 12 arrests so
far. The department’s Street Crimes Unit has spent the last 12
months looking into people who either own or operate Yerberia shops in the
