Arizonans with cell phones take note, unsolicited text
messages may soon be a thing of the past. Today the Senate followed the House
in passing a ban on marketers sending unsolicited texts to phones.

will be installing a Freeway Management System.“That includes
overhead message boards, but also crews are installing the ramp meters along the
on-ramps along that stretch of State Route
51 and then also freeway cameras are going in,” Nintzel said.

The Postal Inspection Service says tests of suspicious mail sent to the Phoenix office of U.S. Senator Jeff Flake have found nothing dangerous or harmful. Authorities evacuated part of the building this morning after staff for the Republican senator came across mail that was stained with an oily substance.

chairman of the Tohono O'odham Nation has died. The death of Augustine B. Lopez
Sr. was announced Friday by his southern Arizona Tribe. Neither Lopez’s age nor
cause of death was released, but a short bio was made public by tribal officials.

have created a new state certification for music therapists. The governor said
