The half-dozen Frank Lloyd Wright designed-buildings
could be designated as historical landmarks. The Phoenix City Council could
decide today if they’ll allocate funds to assure the buildings are protected.
Arizona State University has opened an outreach center in Santa Monica, Calif. to
attract residents of that state to Arizona.
Spokesman James O'Brien says the center will also benefit ASU alumni.
“Probably our largest alumni association chapter is in
Los Angeles and
so it provides a place where not only employees of the university but
volunteers and alumni and friends of the university can engage,” O’Brien said.
