FBI says Horne silence on crash due to affair
FBI agents allege Arizona Attorney General Tom Honre left the scene of a minor car crash because he was having an affair with a female employee, who was in the car he was driving and didn't want their relationship reported.

Loughner sentenced to seven consecutive life terms
A federal Judge in Tucson has sentenced Jared Loughner to seven consecutive life terms, and an additional 140 years.  Victims of the January 2011 shooting and their families took turns speaking to Loughner this morning, including Mark Kelly, the husband of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Valley Metro sees ridership records in October
More people took mass transit to get to their metro Phoenix destinations last month than in any month ever.  Valley Metro says ridership during October topped 7 million trips for the first time, with bus and light rail ridership increasing 10 percent, according to spokeswoman Susan Tierney.

Judges to hear arguments on partial sweep of fund for homeowners
A three-judge panel is set to hear arguments on whether the state legislature had the right to take money out of a fund for struggling homeowners. The money came from a multi-state settlement involving the mortgage practices of several major banks.

State Bar of Arizona investigating attorney general
The State Bar of Arizona is investigating Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne. The investigation stems from alleged campaign finance violations and an alleged hit and run accident. Horne has been accused of illegally coordinating with an independent expenditure committee during the 2010 election.

Body may be that of missing ASU student
Tempe police say a body discovered in Town Lake on Sunday has a "strong possibility" of being that of a missing ASU student. Sgt. Mike Pooley says the body has not yet been identified but there's a good chance it's that of 19-year-old Jack Culolias.

Man convicted for murder of Tucson imam
A man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the 1990 death of a Tucson imam.Pima County prosecutors say Glen Francis was found guilty of killing Dr. Rashad Khalifa over his religious teachings. Francis had been living in Canada with a false name and wasn’t arrested until three years ago.
