KJZZ/KBACH Hotspots

Looking for something interesting to do this weekend? We've hand picked some Hotspots worth checking out. From big community events to things off the beaten path — here are some ideas for getting out in the Valley. (Don't worry, introverts — we've got something for you, too!)

FOR EXTROVERTS

The annual Rainbows Festival & Street Fair is a celebration of the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. The free event features 150 exhibitors and two stages filled with entertainment throughout the weekend.

FOR INTROVERTS

Get outside with the Earth Day Celebration and Ladybug Release in Apache Junction! Come learn how keeping our community healthy keeps us healthy. Plant seedlings, listen to music, sample delicious produce and create art.

FEELING WILD?

"Xanadu" follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California, in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time — the first ROLLER DISCO! It's playing at the Starlight Community Theater in Phoenix.

NOTE: KJZZ/KBACH does not endorse or sponsor any event, service or activity listed in this guide. They look like a good time to us, but we can't make any promises. Have fun!
