Donor-Advised Funds

One way to support KJZZ is through a donor-advised fund. This type of giving has become more popular for individuals and families that want to benefit multiple charities throughout the year and for extended periods of time.

What is a donor-advised fund?

A donor-advised fund is a separately managed fund that is maintained and operated by a sponsoring organization, such as the Arizona Community Foundation, Fidelity, or Schwab.

Will I be able to control my donations to charity?

Once you establish a donor-advised fund, you retain advisory privileges with respect to investment allocations and distributions to various charities.

Will I be able to designate KJZZ to receive donations?

If you have a donor-advised fund, you can recommend grants to support the programs you love on KJZZ.

How do I make a gift from my donor-advised fund to benefit KJZZ?

Contact your sponsoring organization and request that an amount be transferred directly to Friends of Public Radio Arizona.
