Arizona Faces $1.1 Billion Budget Deficit
A decline in state revenues due to the coronavirus, plus additional costs to the state, should leave Arizona with a $1.1 billion budget deficit by July 2021. Countys Hospitalization Rate Beginning To Slow
Social distancing measures are helping to slow the rate of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Maricopa County, said Dr. Rebecca Sunenshine, the county’s medical director for disease control. Sunenshine couldn’t say when it’ll be safe to relax social distancing measures. She said pulling them back too fast could result in a second peak of cases.
