New State Budget Uncertain As Arizona Senators Hold Out

Republican legislative leaders formally introduced a nearly $12 billion budget plan Tuesday, and committee hearings are scheduled in the House for later this morning.

Still, the spending plan’s future is uncertain as a number of Senate Republicans say they will not vote for it in its current form.

Ben Giles of the Arizona Capitol Times joined the show to talk about the status of the new state budget.
