University of Arizona Adds Genetic Counseling Graduate Program
Interest in our genetics and what illnesses and diseases we — or subsequent generations — may be susceptible to is growing rapidly.
But where do the best answers come from? If the science tells us something, how do we interpret specific information? Who helps with handling the heavy emotional toll that can result?
That's where genetic counseling could come in. The University of Arizona has introduced a graduate program in genetic counseling to fill the need.
