New Analysis: The World Is Standing On Precipice Of A Mobility Revolution

Walk down most streets and you'll find evidence that transportation and mobility are changing: autonomous vehicles continue to drive on Phoenix-area roadways, rideshare scooters litter the sidewalks and many more people are now likely to turn to their phones to hail an Uber or Lyft than call a cab.

A new analysis says we’re now looking at mobility’s second great inflection point, and suggests the changes to come in the next decade or so could be bigger than the ones that moved us from horses and buggies to cars in the last century.

Stefan Knupfer, a senior partner at McKinsey and Company, which put out the report, joined The Show to talk about the factors they looked at that led tham to say autonomous vehicles are coming, increased connectivity is coming and it’s going to be a really, really big deal.
