Arizona Republic columnist Karina Bland and Chip Scutari of Scutari and Cieslak Public Relations review 2014 in Arizona and look ahead to 2015.

They discussed the future of eduction in Arizona, the VA scandal, issues with neglected cases at Child Protective Services and the impact of same-sex marriage.

Scutari said it will be important to watch both Rep.-elect Martha McSally from Arizona's 2nd Congressional district and Gov.-Elect Doug Ducey going in to 2015.

Bland said another elected official to watch will be Diane Douglas, the new Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction.
