Recent winter storms brought rain and snow across the state, and bumpy rides on Arizona roads.

ADOT crews have been busy in the past couple of weeks working to fill potholes, especially on freeways around the Phoenix metro area.

Doug Nintzel, an ADOT spokesperson, said crews have made significant progress on roadway repairs since the storm struck.

“It’s a night by night, week by week process for us to work on making those temporary repairs to the pavements damaged by the storms,” he said.

Nintzel said that crews will primarily work in overnight hours, when traffic is lighter, but some repairs have been able to take place during the day.
