Martha McSally answers questions on Dec. 18, 2018, on the heels of Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey appointing her to the U.S. Senate.

On Tuesday morning, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey appointed Martha McSally to the U.S. Senate to replace Sen. Jon Kyl.

Kyl announced last week that he’d step down at the end of the month after Ducey appointed him this fall to replace the late Sen. John McCain. McSally in November lost the race to replace Arizona’s outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake to Kyrsten Sinema.

Chuck Coughlin of HighGround joined The Show to talk about this.
