Group Working To Fill 'Education Deserts' Across U.S.

Earning a college degree is still a vital way to achieve career advancement, and not having one leads to making a lot less money over the course of one’s work life.

There have been both federal and state efforts to offer more higher educational opportunities, but that has still left many so-called "education deserts" across the country.

To talk more about those and what can be done to improve the situation, The Show turned to Lorelle Espinosa, an assistant vice president at the American Council on Education.
