Judge Hearing Arguments Over Signatures On Clean Energy For A Healthy Arizona Initiative
Supporters and opponents of the Clean Energy for a Healthy Arizona initiative will be in court starting Monday for what’s expected to be a five-day case.
At issue is whether voters will be able to weigh in on the measure, which would require half the state’s energy to come from renewable sources by 2030.
Carmen Foreman of The Arizona Capitol Times is covering the case. The Show caught up with her before Monday’s session, and asked her what the case is all about.
