ASU is expanding beer and wine sales at Sun Devil Stadium ahead of the 2018 football season.

ASU says beer and wine sales will be available in all areas of Sun Devil Stadium except for the area directly behind the student section in the south end zone.

Athletic director Ray Anderson says the move will align ASU with local and national sports and entertainment venues.

In a statement, Anderson said the expanded concession options will be accompanied with enhanced security measures.

The school says there will be an increase in alcohol monitors throughout the stadium, as well as new electronic screening equipment at all entrances.

ASU is putting more than $300 million in renovations into the stadium.

The Sun Devils’ first home game is Sept. 1.
