Women In Our Community

Women In Our Community

Women like you are the backbone of our community and the fact that you embrace public radio means so much to us. Your passion for our service propels us to continue our dedication to unbiased in-depth news coverage and the development of ongoing funding for public radio.

Members of this group enjoy exclusive invitations to intimate events with public radio personalities and other outstanding female community leaders. Each month members receive a monthly newsletter with updates from women making news in our community and the KJZZ women producing outstanding news stories.

Upcoming Events

Reading Books from Talented Local Authors

Many of our public radio members enjoy reading and have joined our Book Club. Recently we met a wonderful group of talented local authors at KJZZ’s Holiday StoryFest & Authors Showcase.

We believe women like you will enjoy reading María Tomás-Keegan’s book, Upside Down to Right Side Up: Turning Transition into Triumph.

We’re asking those of you who are interested to read the book together over the next eight weeks at which time we’ll announce the date and location for an in-person book chat to share our reading experience.
