Nurse Kaci Hickox of Maine went out for a bike ride Thursday, defying the state’s voluntary quarantine of medical workers who have treated patients with Ebola.

That’s raised a number of questions among members of the public and medical professionals.

We spoke to James Hodge, Professor of Public Law and Ethics at ASU’s O’Connor College of Law about the ethics of quarantines.
