Officials Searching For Information On Pregnant Doe Poacher

July 24, 2013
A pregnant doe was found dead Sunday near the Coolidge Airport, after being shot twice with a small caliber firearm. Now Officer Diane Tilton said the Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering a $1200.50 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with the poaching. “It seems to be a crime of opportunity,” Tilton said. “They were probably out there, saw the deer, and then shot it and left it for dead.” Tilton said poachers steal from the citizens of Arizona when things like this happen. She said the doe was shot twice at close range.
