The film "Jerry Maguire" made a big splash when it hit theaters 20 years ago, and probably no character had a bigger impact than Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rod Tidwell, who demanded the team show him the money.

Now, NFL Network has produced a special "A Football Life" documentary about Tidwell.

We learned more about how a fictional character earned his own documentary from coordinating producer Dan Dieffenbach.
