June 03, 2013

We are pleased to share the voices and conversations of our community from StoryCorps Phoenix. StoryCorps Phoenix is the project that records the stories of everyday people and archives them at the Library of Congress.

The StoryCorps Mobile Booth was parked at the Phoenix Art Museum and was been very busy. We’ll air a conversation each Monday on KJZZ as part of the Phoenix visit.

Today, a conversation with Peggy and Celeste Plumlee.

Peggy has always been there for her family through divorce and difficult relationships. Now, she’s faced with a potentially life-threatening and debilitating disease that has changed her life completely.

Peggy and her daughter Celeste came to StoryCorps Phoenix.
