Maricopa County residents can turn in their early ballots.

Still have an early ballot at home? County election officials are recommending you put it in the mail no later than Nov. 1.

"I know that may seem a little early. It is a full week before the election. But we just want to absolutely ensure that we get every person’s early ballot back. We are not a postmark state. We have to have it in our hands by 7 p.m. on Election Day," says Elizabeth Bartholomew of the Maricopa County Recorder's Office.

If you aren’t ready to put the ballot in the mail by Nov. 1, you can drop off the ballot at any polling place on Election Day. The last day to request an early ballot is this Friday. Voters can track the status of early ballots on the Maricopa County Recorder’s website.
