That’s certainly the case with the Longmire mysteries.

Craig Johnson is the author of the series of Longmire books, featuring Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire. There’s also a related series on Netflix called Longmire.

KJZZ's Here and Now spoke with Johnson about his inspiration and why he enjoys writing about Longmire.
