Arizona earns one of the top spots in rooftop solar energy because of its sunny skies and incentives offered by utility companies.

Electric car maker Tesla, the brainchild of entrepreneur Elon Musk, wants to buy solar panel maker SolarCity for up to 2.8 billion dollars. Musk is already SolarCity’s chairman.
