Science fiction on the page or on film seems like it’s becoming less fictional because it feels like reality may be more rapidly catching up with our imaginations.

However, just because smart watches and virtual reality are becoming commonplace, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to look forward to — or freak out about.
