Every so often, you hear something that just makes you feel old. Today, it’s this: 25 years ago this week, “Bust A Move” by Young MC came out.

Yup, 25 years. It won him a Grammy, and was a top ten hit on a bunch of Billboard charts. But it was Young MC’s only hit.

Today, Young MC, whose real name is Marvin Young, lives in the Valley — and I asked him about the rap scene back in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
