ASU's Dan Hunting explains Prop 123

Arizona consistently ranks near the bottom for K-12 education. During the Great Recession, the legislature continued to make cuts to school funding. The courts have ruled the state owes the schools money. And on May 17th, voters will be asked to consider one funding option in Prop 123.

As part of KJZZ's series on the subject, Dan Hunting, a senior policy analyst at Arizona State University’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy, spoke to KJZZ's Will Stone about Prop 123. In this segment, Hunting further discusses Prop 123's potential impact on the state land trust and provides more details on the funding.
