As Arizona’s Tuesday presidential primary election nears, candidates are scheduling visits to Arizona.

Republican candidate Donald Trump will be in the Valley for back-to-back events on Saturday morning and protests are expected.

Trump, who is the favorite to win Arizona’s winner-take-all 58 delegates, is first scheduled to appear at an event at the Phoenix Convention Center with Sean Hannity of Fox News, then will hold a rally at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills. From there he will head to a rally in Tucson.

Clashes between anti-Trump protesters and Trump supporters prompted the candidate’s rally in Chicago last weekend to be cancelled.

One of Trump’s most prominent supporters in the state is former Gov. Jan Brewer, who applauds Trump's plan to build a border wall and make Mexico pay.

“The wall and the fence will make a big difference,” Brewer said in a phone interview with KJZZ. “And I think Mr. Trump will do that. He has made a promise and I think he will deliver on that.”

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is vying to cut into Trump’s lead in Arizona. He announced he would visit the Arizona border on Friday and then he is scheduled to hold a rally Friday evening at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix. According to the Arizona Republican Party, the Cruz event has sold out.
