The Phoenix City Council acted this week to focus on ensuring the community has enough water for the future.

Among the votes was the unanimous approval of a partnership with Tucson water providers allowing for the storage and recovery of Central Arizona Project water between the two cities.

Ken Kroski of Phoenix’s Water Services Department explained what the council did and where the city gets its water from.
