Arizona Secretary Of State's Office Launches New Website For Voters
It used to take a lot of clicking and reading through the Arizona Secretary of State website to register to vote or change party preference. Now, just before the state holds its Presidential Preference Election, Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan has launched www.arizona.vote.
Matt Roberts with the Secretary of State’s office said it’s the new online portal for everything election related.
“We anticipate that this will be the go-to place for people who are looking for information as to how they can update their registration; how they can request a ballot to vote from home; find their polling place,” Roberts said.
The website has been in the making for a year and was launched late last week.
And as all eyes have been on Iowa and New Hampshire in the last few weeks, it will soon be Arizona’s turn to choose from the remaining presidential candidates.
The website is something the state Secretary of State Regan wants you to remember, especially if you’re an independent voter.
“We’ll make sure this is nice and easy for people to navigate so they can quickly and easily get anything they want to know about the election that’s coming up,” Roberts said.
Registration for the March 22nd Presidential Preference Election closes on Feb. 22.
