The New Times under new ownership

September 26, 2012

The Phoenix New Times will no longer be headquartered in Phoenix, and its headline-making owners Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin won't be making the big decisions anymore. Forty-two years after Lacey helped co-found the paper, it -- and the other papers under the Village Voice Media umbrella -- are being sold to the new, Denver-based Voice Media Group.

On the show to talk about the impact of the New Times and its sale is former New Times reporter John Dougherty, currently the president and director of the Arizona Center for Investigative Journalism.
