Donald Trump rally in Mesa on Dec. 16, 2016.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is in Mesa today for a noon rally at the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport.

The visit directly follows his appearance in Las Vegas last night in the fifth GOP primary debate. Trump’s return to metro Phoenix comes after his highly criticized proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.

Today’s rally is his second visit to the Valley.
