Arizona Gets $402,000 Grant To Improve Lab Bio-Safety

The state health department this week announced the Arizona Public Health Laboratory received a grant from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve bio-safety in its facility and partner labs.
The state will get almost $402,000 over three years. Cara Christ, director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, explained what the money will do.
