Arizona Board To Request More Funding To Public In-State University Students

Following its most recent meeting, the Arizona Board of Regents decided to ask the state legislature for additional funding for public universities—with a particular focus on in-state students.

Since the Great Recession, lawmakers have not been inclined to restore money Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona had been receiving. So is this a different focus that will get lawmakers on board? Eileen Klein, president of the Arizona Board of Regents, explained the funding.
