Ireland and Scotland
Ireland and Scotland
May 30 - June 11, 2015
KJZZ General Manager Dr. Jim Paluzzi and a small group of public radio enthusiasts explored the enchanting and mysterious Gaelic culture of Ireland and Scotland. They experienced traditional music, culture dance, historic landmarks, spectacular views, pub crawls, folklore and more.
The journey began in Dublin, where they explored the heart of the city and visited Ireland’s oldest university, Trinity College. From there they went south through the Wicklow Mountains to historic Kilkenny and Killarney with stops at Rock of Cashel and the delightful and culturally-significant Dingle Peninsula. They continued on to Scotland, where they'll strolled the streets of Edinburgh, Glasgow and the gorgeous Scottish Highlands.
