Phoenix Public Library will host its second annual scholarship expo for high school seniors on Feb. 1.

Program administrator Judy Reno said last year’s expo attracted nearly 300 students and guardians.

“Students were able to get connected with great funding opportunities, including a scholarship lab hosted by the Arizona Community Foundation, so that students could leave having applied to a portal of more than a hundred scholarships,” she told a council subcommittee.

The event will include presentations and scholarship representatives. The program is part of College Depot at Burton Barr Central Library. College Depot offers no-fee planning services for middle and high school students and adults to earn GEDs or high school diplomas and apply for apprenticeships, trade schools, colleges and universities.
