Forward Clayton Keller is a big part of the Coyotes’ future.
The Arizona Coyotes plan to play at Mullett Arena on ASU’s Tempe campus next season. The team made that announcement after Tempe voters rejected a plan that would have included a new arena as part of an entertainment district in the city.
But the plans for what happens after next season are murkier. Mesa has been floated as a possible home, as has Phoenix. And a number of cities outside Arizona have also been mentioned, if the team ends up leaving the desert.
The Show talked about what might be next for the Coyotes with Sean Gentille, senior NHL writer for The Athletic, and started with what the conversations are like now within the NHL about the team’s future.
