Author Kristin Bauer is the author of "THIS IS LIKE THAT."

Kristin Bauer is an artist who works in a lot of different mediums. From installation and sculptures, to painting and performance, art her often text-oriented work reflects a pop of sensibility and explores transparency and propaganda, among other themes. 

Now, she is out with a new book: "THIS IS LIKE THAT," which she approached more like an extension of her work than a collection of it.

“It was really looking at the design of a book tactically being an extension of the artwork but also kind of allowing you to step inside the artwork," said Bauer.

The Show spoke with her more on what this means.
