What 'vehicle to everything' means and how the technology could make Arizona roads safer

The Arizona Commerce Authority has gotten a federal grant to work on “vehicle to everything” technology.
The U.S. Department of Transportation is sending Arizona more than $1.7 million for the project. The money will help digitize roadways to use the new technology, and the Arizona Commerce Authority will be working with entities including Arizona State University, University of Arizona and Chicanos Por La Causa.
The Show talked with Marisa Walker, senior vice president at the Arizona Commerce Authority and executive director of the Institute of Automated Mobility, about the initiative.
