Irrigation company N-Drip partners with UA, Central Arizona Project

Israeli-based company N-Drip has partnered with the Central Arizona Project and University of Arizona to use its irrigation system across the state.
The company reportedly has a gravity-powered drip system that uses 50% less water than the usual method of flood irrigation.
“It doesn’t use any external energy source. It’s powered exclusively by gravity, which unlike solar or wind, is always on. It’s completely sustainable,” said Seth Siegel, N-Drip’s chief sustainability officer.
Installation costs would be covered through the partnership and further research would be conducted on the company’s drip system.
Costs for installation run $1,500, which are expected to be offset, through state and federal grants, and the CAP.
