Houses of worship are often recognizable — whether they’re churches, synagogues, mosques or the holy buildings of other faiths.

But writer Greg Allen says the architecture of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ temples has evolved over the years in some interesting ways.

Allen is a writer and artist in Washington, D.C., and he wrote about this in the magazine Art in America. He spoke with The Show about the evolution of LDS temples.
