A cold front has come as storms have dropped rain and snow across the state. Phoenix Sky Harbor saw a morning rainfall total of about a sixth of an inch.

Flagstaff airport totaled more than 6 inches of snow Monday morning, with snowfall dropping down below 4,000 feet elevation across the northern state. 

National Weather Service meteorologist Benji Johnson says temperatures will remain low. 

"You can expect generally 10-15 degrees above average across most of northern Arizona, if not most of the state of Arizona, at least for the next few days. And we’re not forecasting a big warm up anytime soon," Johnson said. 

He added that some snowfall is expected to continue throughout the day, and that people should double their expected travel times.
