Gas prices falling in Arizona

June 22, 2012

For the 11th week in a row, gas prices continue to fall in Arizona. And experts predict the price will keep on dropping.  From Phoenix, KJZZ’s Nadine Arroyo Rodriguez reports.

The statewide gas price is an average $3.53, down by more than 8 cents from a week ago, and standing at a four-month low. Tucson has the state's lowest prices at $3.44, while drivers in Flagstaff pay the most at $3.70 a gallon. Across the nation the price of gas is highest on the West Coast at nearly four dollars. The lowest gas prices in the U.S. are in Mississippi, Alabama and South Carolina. They're paying a little more than $3.00. Experts say most parts of the county could see the price of gas drop to as low as $3.00 per gallon by the fall.
