Most of us don’t typically associate items like chalupas or the anthem of "living más" with high-end essays and fiction. But the people behind a publication called Taco Bell Quarterly are out to change that.

Volume 5 recently came out and includes an Autofiction entry titled, "On Guacamole That Comes Out of a Squirt Gun" and a piece of fiction called, "Saturn Devouring His Crunchwrap Supreme."

There are also pieces with titles like "Niche Shift" and "The One Familiar Place," so not everything is obviously about Taco Bell, but the inspiration is evident in nearly every aspect of the collection.

The Show spoke with them to learn how the publication got started.
