COVID-19’s effect on society, travel and education — among many other things — is still clearly being felt. And the past two and a half years have displayed just how much individual behavior can change, and to what extent we concern ourselves with what other people have to deal with.
Have we become more selfish and less inclined to care about our fellow human beings?
Dr. David Beyda is chair and professor of the department of Bioethics and Medical Humanism at the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in Phoenix. The Show spoke with Beyda about how living with the pandemic for more than two years has impacted how we think about people who aren’t our close friends or relatives.
