Home prices have been cooling off just a bit recently, but are still high — too high, in fact, for many prospective buyers to get into the market. And that, combined with other factors, has put housing out of reach for many Arizonans.

Dominika Grandlienard and her husband sold their house last October; since then, they, along with their 1 1/2- and 5-year-old kids, have been living with her mother-in-law. She says they’re paying attention to the market and trying to figure out the best time to get back in. 

The Show spoke with her recently — and as you’ll hear, her youngest child was there, as well — and asked what led them to sell their house last fall.
