Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport has dropped its mask requirement for customers and employees.

The move follows a ruling by a Florida federal judge that struck down the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's extension of the mandate. Several airlines have also dropped the requirement.

The CDC continues to recommend wearing masks in indoor public transportation settings, and a spokesperson for Sky Harbor says masks will continue to be available at airport vending machines and airport information counters.
